‘Tis the Season!!!

Well, ’tis almost the season.

Actually, ’tis the season before the season. But that doesn’t mean you can’t start planning! (Or planning to plan.)

Let me make this easy for you: your friends and family will nominate you Best in Christmas/Hanukkah/Winter Solstice if you bring them a jar of this Homemade Butterscotch (courtesy of my fave, Smitten Kitchen).  They will lift you on their shoulders, give you three cheers, AND let you have the last slice of pumpkin pie. I’m talking serious adulation here.

And even though you may want to plan to make these now, you can absolutely wait until the wee hours of Christmas Eve Eve, because you can pull a jar or two of this together in, oh, 10 minutes or less.

In fact, you SHOULD hold-off, my planner-happy friend, because this deep, dark, butterscotchy beauty only keeps in the fridge for 2 weeks. If you can hold off on devouring it for that long!
